Welcome to Redwood Heights

A nonprofit community organization focused on safety, environment, and youth

The Redwood Heights District is located in the scenic lower Oakland Hills.

The government's Best Climate in America rating confirms that our coastal location with its Mediterranean climate and gentle sea breezes creates opportunities for exceptional outdoor living. It’s perfect for dozens of outdoor sports, gardening, urban farming, a simple bike ride...or just a walk in the park.

The District is a friendly and diverse community of roughly 5,200 residents, many of whom are eager to volunteer for social, civic, or environmental projects.

In addition to our special climate, we also have an abundance of neighborhood amenities: A great elementary school, recreation center, parks, convenient shopping districts, and several universities and colleges that provide rich cultural and educational venues.

It's a great place to live!
